Any body can guess which movie we are  talking about……Dear friend its none other that Star Trek Directed by J. J.Abrams.This movie is must watch movie for Year 2009.

I’ve never been a Trekker and yet I must confess I was amply entertained by the new Star Trek movie that’s opened at the cinemas this week. With a legacy of six television series and 10 feature films behind it, the cult following of Star Trek is virtually unparalleled in the sci-fi genre, with only George LucasStar Wars films posing any serious competition to Star Trek in the popularity department.

Rebooting the Star Trek saga in a way that it must appeal to both its loyal fan base of Trek faithfuls and a whole new generation of young, unfamiliar film-goers couldn’t have been an easy job – even Lucas more or less failed in achieving that with his less-than-spectacular Star Wars prequels – but director JJ Abrams does a pretty good job of it.

Good Thing about this movie : Let’s face it: Star Trek was getting tired, with diminishing box-office returns and falling TV ratings. By going back to the beginning and introducing a whole new youthful vibe past Treks never had, Abrams has given a new lease on life to a legendary 40-year-old adventure that now can go on to live long(er) and (fortunately for Paramount) prosper all over again. The updated casting is joined by state-of-the-art visual effects and action set pieces that outdo any previous incarnations, and the whip-smart screenplay by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman does creator Gene Roddenberry’s original vision proud while introducing it to a new generation. Key to successfully accomplishing this mission was to create a new take that would bring in new devotees but not turn off the faithful Trekkies who’ve kept this thing going for so long.

Bad Thing about this movie :-Other than Yelchin’s accent, only the overriding feeling that any potential sequels can never match the joy of seeing the genesis of Star Trek portrayed like it is here. But bring ‘em on anyway.
